7am to 4pm. Camp fee is $280 per child. Non-refundable registration fee-$35. Registration hours: Monday-Friday (10am-6pm) |

Bio- Vanessa L. (Edmond) Walker is a native of Columbus, Mississippi. She graduated from Caldwell High School, Mary Holmes College (Associate of Science), University of Mississippi (Bachelor of Social Work), and University of Phoenix (Master of Science & Administration of Justice and Security). Vanessa was employed in many capacities such as a Fourth-Grade Teacher in Oklahoma; Student Personnel Manager, Center Protection Officer, and Counselor for Job Corps; Qualified Mental Health Professional; and a Supervisor for North Mississippi Regional Center. She has 25 years of experience working with youth. She served as Youth Director, Deaconess, Leadership Team, Small Group Leader, and Marriage Ministry Coordinator. Vanessa was raised in Southside Missionary Baptist Church and rejoined after she relocated to Columbus in 2017. She has been married to Michael A. Walker for nine years. She has one daughter, Ashley, two sons, Keenan and Michael Jr., and three grandsons, Dayvion, Jayvion, and Kenyon. Bio-Michael A. Walker Bio Michael Walker is a native of Tulsa, Oklahoma. He is a retired Assistant Fire Marshall for the City of Tulsa where he served for 27 years. During his tenure as Assistant Fire Marshall, he oversaw the Juvenile Fire Setter program and served as a Code Enforcement Officer. He was the only Africa American to serve on the Oklahoma Fire Marshall Association Executive Board as Board President for 12 years; two terms as President. Michael spent over 20 year as a Youth Sports Coach. He served in church in many capacities such as Elder, Deacon, Youth Director, and Marriage Ministry Coordinator. Michael joined Southside Missionary Baptist Church, Inc. in 2016. Michael has been married to Vanessa L. Walker for nine years. He has two sons, Keenan and Michael, Jr., a daughter, Ashley, and three grandsons, Dayvion, Jayvion, and Kenyon. |
